Sable biscuits in an easy and simple way

Sable is a French dish that is well-known throughout the world. They're little biscuit pieces. Flour, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, grated lemon peel, and baking powder are used to make the sable. Traditionally, the sable is filled with apricot or strawberry jam and topped with fine sugar.

These tiny, crumbly biscuits are wonderful simple, dipped in dark chocolate, or sandwiched with jam and hail from Normandy, France. The simplest buttery biscuits you'll ever make once you've mastered the fundamental recipe. These are quite simple to make and are ideal as a teatime treat - delightful and dangerously moreish.

 **Ingredients**

   * 3/4 ​​cup (1 1/2 pieces) unsalted butter,

  * 2/3 cup sugar

  *large egg

  * 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

   * 1 and 3/4 cup all-purpose flour,

  * One and a half teaspoons of baking powder

 

** How to make steps **

    Step 1

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a non-stick baking mat; To put the sable chips when making them, sit aside.

 

  Step 2

    Put the butter and sugar in the bowl of a food processor. Process until creamy. egg, salt and vanilla; Process for 30 seconds until blended. Add 1 cup of flour and baking powder and mix until smooth. Add the remaining flour to the processor; summation. Turn the dough out onto a work surface and shape it into a flat square; Wrap it in plastic wrap and move it to the refrigerator to cool.

 

  Step 3

    Place a non-stick baking mat on the work surface. Place half of the cooled dough on a baking mat. Top with a plastic cap. Roll the dough between the baking mat and the plastic wrap until it is 1/8 inch thick. Transfer the mixture to the refrigerator to cool for about 30 minutes, until firm. Repeat the process with the remaining dough.

   

 Step 4

    Using a 2-inch round, star, or triangle cookie cutter, cut the dough out, making one whole piece and cut out a small circle from the inside and transfer to prepared baking sheets. Transfer baking sheets to the refrigerator until the dough has cooled, about 20 minutes. Twist the clips and repeat. Repeat the process with the remaining dough. Transfer to the refrigerator and let cool for about 30 minutes, until firm.

Transfer it to the oven. Bake until cookies are pale golden, 12 to 15 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool
